Aliyar Water Cascade is formed over a check dam built on the Uppar River. The area is neat, clean, and less crowded. It has many water-related entertainments like running water overflow over which you can enjoy walking, simply lie down and get yourself wet, and dive into the other side from the water channel top, etc. Diving on the reservoir side is very risky as it has approximately 15feet in depth. Built across the Aliyar River, the Aliyar Dam was constructed during 1959-1969 mainly for irrigation purposes.
