At a distance of 14 km from Pollachi Junction, Sri Masani Amman Temple is a sacred Hindu temple located at Anaimalai near Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. Situated at the confluence of Aliyar River and the Uppar stream, it is one of the popular places of pilgrimage near Coimbatore, and among the top Pollachi places to visit.

Also known as Anaimalai Masani Amman Temple is dedicated to Goddess Arulmigu Masani Amman. The presiding deity is seen in a lying posture measuring 15 feet with four hands holding a skull, snake, drum, and a trident. Aliyar Water Cascade is formed over a check dam built on the Uppar River. The area is neat, clean, and less crowded. It has many water-related entertainments like running water overflow over which you can enjoy walking, simply lie down and get yourself wet, and dive into the other side from the water channel top, etc. Diving on the reservoir side is very risky as it has approximately 15feet in depth. Also when you stand against water force one needs to be careful about getting hit by stone if the balance is lost. This dam is mainly used by local people for their daily use like washing, bathing & entertainment.

Situated at an altitude of 240 m, Topslip is the tourist zone and main birding area of the Annamalai Tiger Reserve, which is separated from the Nilgiri Hills by Palghat Gap in the north. At a distance of 13 km from Masani Amman Temple, and 21 km from Pollachi, Athuparai Water Cascade is a scenic spot located at Athuparai near Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. Athuparai Water Cascade is formed over a check dam built on the Aliyar River. This place became famous because of the Tamil movie Winner as few scenes were shot here. The area is neat, clean, and less crowded. One can enjoy the greenery and the water flowing around, which looks beautiful. At a distance of 24 km from Pollachi and 43 km from Valparai, Aliyar Dam is an earthen dam located at Aliyar village in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the popular dams in the Coimbatore district and among the prime places to visit in Valparai.

Built across the Aliyar River, the Aliyar Dam was constructed during 1959-1969 mainly for irrigation purposes. Azhiyar Dam was inaugurated on 2nd October 1962 by then Prime minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and was commissioned in 2002 to generate Hydro Electric Power. The dam is located in the foothills of Valparai, in the Anaimalai Hills of the Western Ghats. The height of the dam is 81 m.

There is a well-maintained park built at bottom of the Dam along with an aquarium, a mini Themed - Park and play area maintained by Tamil Nadu Fisheries Corporation.
