Spread over 250 acres, Nandi Valley Winery, also known as Kinvah Vineyards & Tavern, is best known for its Kinvah range of premium wines, from red and white to rose. Kinvah, named after an exotic wine from the Mauryan era, is a leading wine manufacturer in this region and the winery aims to produce French grape wines that are at par with French or Italian wines in their refinement and flavor notes. The pleasant and cool climate of the Nandi valley, with its fertile soil, is apt for producing the finest quality of grapes.

Kinvah makes for a super-fun weekend getaway too, as one can spend a day filled with fun activities here. The winery offers you wine tours in two batches daily - 10.30 AM and 1.30 PM. On this tour, guests are informed about the history of wine and its cultivation before proceeding to witness the actual process at the vineyard. Practically every aspect of wine-making is discussed-right from fermentation to bottling and final labeling. Then, you can take part in a wine-tasting session where you can try the best wines from their collection.

Besides, visitors can also experience an exciting grape stomping session followed by a leisurely walk in their vineyards and spend some time in nature, relaxing or playing outdoor games! There is also a delightful restaurant offering sumptuous delicacies. They also run wine education classes to introduce more people to the finer aspects of wine making and tasting.

Tours and tastings are conducted seven days a week throughout the year. Advance booking is mandatory as the winery doesn't allow walk-ins. However, grape stomping is seasonal. The best time to visit the Kinvah Vineyards would be during the harvesting and crushing months between January and March.
