Travel Tips: Chorbahuli remains closed for tourists from 1st July to 15th October and on every Thursday. Also, it is closed for afternoon safari on 26th January and on 1st May every year.

At a distance of 30 km from Khawasa and 38 km from Turiya, Chorbahuli is lesser-known safari zone of Pench National Park on Maharashtra Side. The entry gate of the zone is situated at Chorbahuli village, located on NH-44.

Chorbahuli is another zone sheltered in the Maharashtra part of Pench National Park. It consists of dense forest and beautiful water bodies, which draw many species of birds as well as wild animals to it. One can go for jungle safaris in this zone along with boat ride.

The best way to explore the flora and fauna of the national park is to travel through jeep safari. Jeep Safaris operate in two shifts, one in the early morning and another one in the evening. The Jeep Safari is done only with vehicles registered with the park administration as private vehicles are not allowed inside the park. The number of vehicles allowed into Chorbahuli Zone is 14 in the morning and 14 in the evening. Each jeep can take up to 6 travelers other than a driver and one naturalist. Afternoon safari is closed on 26th January & 1st May every year and completely closed on every Thursday.

Online Jungle safari booking is available for this gate. The safari tickets can be booked online at www.mahaecotourism.gov.in. It is strongly recommended to book safari almost 120 days before your trip. The guide fee and vehicle hire fee are to be paid separately at the park before undertaking the safari. Else, one can book safari tickets at the ticket window or through hotels.

All the visitors are required to carry their original identity document during safari drives as it is verified at the entrance gate. Safari tickets are non-transferable. During safari drive, guide service is compulsory on each safari vehicle.

Safari Timings: 6 AM - 11 AM & 2.30 PM - 6 PM from October - June, closed during monsoon months, every Thursday and on 26th January & 1st May for Evening Safari.

Entry Fee (approximately): Rs. 160 per Adults & Rs. 50 per Child for Indians, Rs. 220 per Adults & Rs. 120 per Child for Foreigners, Rs. 110 for Jeep, Rs. 300 for Guide, Rs. 330 per Person for Boating & Rs. 2000 for Jeep
