At a distance of 21 km from Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, ISKCON Temple, Mumbai officially known as Sri Radha Rasabihari ji Temple is a Hindu temple situated at Juhu area of Mumbai. Also known as Hare Rama Hare Krishna Temple, it is counted one of the most-visited temples of Mumbai and also one of the best Mumbai places to visit.

Situated near the magnificent Juhu Beach, the ISKCON Temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and it sprawls over an area of approximately 4 acres. The ISKCON Temple in Mumbai is one of the 400 ISKCON temples across the world and also one of the best Mumbai visiting places. Built in 1978, this temple was established under the Hare Krishna Movement founded Bhakti Vedanta Swami Prabhupada aimed to spread Krishna consciousness.

Sri Radha Rasabihari ji is the presiding deity of the temple. Sri Gaura-Nitai and Sri Sita Rama Laxman Hanuman are other deities worshipped here. ISKCON Temple is very spacious and has an inbuilt publishing house, guest house and a restaurant serving Vaishnavite food. The architectural splendor of the ISKCON Temple is worth-seeing. Both, its interior and exterior walls are adorned with murals and sculptures. In the central prayer hall, one will find paintings portraying the incidents from the life of Lord Krishna. Owing to its divinity, this beautiful marble shrine is thronged by countless visitors and devotees throughout the year from all parts of the country.

One of the best ways to spend time at the ISKCON Temple is to take part in the mediations and chanting of mantras. The Vedic Educational and Cultural Complex within the premises of ISKCON Temple organises Robot Shows to present spiritual awareness by the use of electronic power. The temple authorities also conduct various cultural, social, and learning programs to enhance the Vedic knowledge.

The best time to visit the ISKCON Temple is during Krishnastami, which falls in the month of August or September. Millions of devotees from all over the world visit the temple during Krishnastami.
