At a distance of 12 km from Pune Junction, Katraj Jain Temple is a revered Jain temple sits on a hillock at Katraj in the Pune district of Maharashtra. It is one of the prominent places to visit as part of Pune family packages.

The Katraj Jain Mandir, commonly referred to as Aagam Mandir, was established in the 20th century and features a variety of shrines dedicated to various Jain deities. The temple's architecture reflects traditional Jain styles, resulting in an environment that is both visually appealing and spiritually enriching. The immaculate white marble edifice, along with its elaborate carvings and detailed representations of Jain gods, enhances its aesthetic charm and sacred ambiance.

The principal shrine is devoted to Lord Mahavir, showcasing a 12-foot tall idol in a padmasana posture, crafted from Panchadhatus, a sacred five-metal alloy, and weighing 5 tonnes. The outer sanctum of the temple displays inscriptions of all 48 Aagams, which are accessible for visitors to read, comprehend, and learn from. Behind the main temple lies a separate structure known as Jal Mandir (Water Temple), which contains an 8-foot tall idol of Lord Parshwanath, weighing 3000 kg.

The Katraj Jain Temple is home to 24 Tirthankara idols and includes a Dharamshala equipped with modern amenities, as well as a Bhojanalaya. Accommodation is available exclusively for members of the Jain community, and these services are subject to charges. The temple premises also include a goshala. Visitors are treated to a breathtaking view of Pune city from the temple, which enhances the sense of tranquility experienced within.
