At a distance of 19 km from Jaipur Railway Station, Jaipur Wax Museum is a wax museum located inside the Nahargarh Fort premises, Jaipur. Also known as Nahargarh Wax Museum, it is one of the best places to visit as part of the Jaipur couple packages.

Jaipur Wax Museum was inaugurated in 2016 by Mr. Anup Shrivastav, marking it as the first wax museum globally to be situated within a heritage site. The museum features over 30 remarkably lifelike wax figures of notable personalities across various domains. Many of these figures represent pioneers in their fields and have been sculpted by Mr. Susanta Ray, India's first and most experienced wax sculptor. To enhance the visitor experience, the wax figures are accompanied by creative sets and backdrops.

The Hall of Icons sections is the starting point of Jaipur Wax Museum, where guests can view wax figures of distinguished national and international figures, including celebrities, film stars, national heroes, and sports icons. Among the most celebrated personalities represented here are Amitabh Bachchan, Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Rabindranath Tagore, Albert Einstein, Michael Jackson, Sawai Jai Singh II, and Maharani Gayatri Devi.

The Royal Darbar section immerses visitors in a regal atmosphere with its lifelike statues of the Maharajas and Maharanis of Jaipur. Another remarkable exhibit here is 'The Journey of the Jaipur Gemstone,' which showcases the historical evolution of precious heirlooms and treasures over the centuries. This section is further divided into two galleries adorned with hand-painted pure gold motifs, inspired by the illustrious history of Rajputana. Visitors are encouraged to capture memorable photographs in a royal setting while wearing a Maharaja costume.

The Sheesh Mahal, an extension of the Nahargarh Wax Museum, is an essential attraction. Constructed by Maharaja Man Singh in the 16th century, it has recently undergone renovations to restore its former splendor. The walls and pillars have been refurbished and embellished with high-quality inlay work. Additionally, the museum showcases the Gati Gamini, a 10-foot-long Royal Enfield Bullet, which serves as the emblematic motorbike of Rajasthan Tourism.

Timings: 10 AM - 6 PM
