Also known as Linh-Son Vietnam Chinese Buddhist Temple, it is one of the important Buddhist Temples in Kushinagar, and among the best places to visit in Kushinagar.
Linh-Son Chinese Temple is one of the modern temples built in Kushinagar. It is the first Buddhist monument that catches the attention of the tourists as they enter the gate of the city. The main shrine is a two-storied structure built-in Chinese and Vietnamese architectural designs. The colorful edifice of the temple looks unique and remarkably different from other Buddhist temples located across the city of Kushinagar.
The statue of Buddha housed in the temple is a great center of attraction for tourists and pilgrims. Besides, the temple complex also features replicas of important Buddhist shrines at the four important Buddhist pilgrimage sites such as Lumbini, Bodh Gaya, Sarnath, and Kushinagar. Managed by the Linh-Son Buddhists from Vietnam, the temple complex houses a meditation hall, Dharma Hall, Vihar, and a school.
