At a distance of 9.5 km from Dehradun Railway Station, Laxman Sidh Temple is located amidst dense Lachhiwala forest in Dehradun. It lies on the way to Jolly Grant Airport at Haridwar - Rishikesh Road.
Laxman Sidh Temple is famous for its religious significance and for its scenic beauty. The temple is the cremation site of the Saint Swami Laxman Siddh. According to a popular belief, the temple is constructed on the same place where Laxman, Lord Rama's younger brother, underwent repentance for killing the demon king Ravana.
On every Sunday, large number of devotees visit this temple. Laxman Siddh Fair is organized at Laxman Siddh Temple on last Sunday of April month every year. Thousands of devotees visit this temple during the annual Fair. Visitors can also experience the culture and customs of local tribes of the region during this fair.
One can reach easily at Laxman Siddh Temple by bus or taxi till Harrawala and then 1 km trek to the temple.
